Savory Soy Patties

Ingredients
3 cup Water
2 cup Soybeans, soaked
(2/3cup dry)
1-1/4 cup Water
1-1/3 cup Rolled
Oats
1 small
Onion, chopped (or 1 tsp. onion powder)
1 tsp
Italian Seasoning
2 T
Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp
Salt
2 T
Oil
1 T
Brewer's type Yeast

Directions
SOAK 2/3 cup dry soybeans overnight in 3 c. water.
DRAIN
soybeans. Then blend soybeans in blender, in 1-1/4 cup water until
quite fine.
PLACE in
mixing bowl. Add seasonings and rolled oats. Allow to
stand 10 min. for rolled oats to absorb moisture.
STIR again
and drop by rounded tablespoons onto lightly oiled skillet on moderate
heat (350°F). Cover and cook until lightly
browned. Turn, cover and cook other side. Reduce heat and
allow to cook 10 minutes longer. Serve with a tomato gravy or
sauce.
